The upcoming Welcomhotel will feature 117 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, alongside a range of dining experiences including an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop speciality restaurant and a lounge bar. Designed to cater to both business and social occasions, the hotel will also offer more than 20,000 sq. ft. of indoor banqueting space complemented by approximately 25,000 sq. ft. of landscaped outdoor lawns, making it one of the region's prominent venues for weddings, conferences and celebrations.
The signing reflects ITC Hotels' continued focus on expanding the Welcomhotel brand across high-potential destinations, where rising economic activity, improving connectivity and increasing tourism are creating sustained demand for premium branded hospitality experiences. Upon opening, Welcomhotel Dehradun Selaqui will further enhance ITC Hotels' presence in Uttarakhand, complementing the recently opened Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Madhuban Dehradun.
Located in the Selaqui area of Dehradun, the hotel is strategically positioned to serve one of the region's fastest-growing commercial and tourism corridors. Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Dehradun has evolved into an important centre for education, manufacturing and business, while also serving as the gateway to some of Uttarakhand's most iconic destinations, including Mussoorie, Rishikesh and Haridwar. Growing infrastructure development and increasing visitor traffic continue to drive demand for high-quality hospitality offerings across the region.
