Brand Brings Its Signature Design and Seamless Check-In to the White Mountains with the Reinvention of the Historic Sunset Hill House.
Hideaway Inns, a hospitality platform reimagining regional travel for today's experience-driven guest, announced today the opening of Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch, its fourth property. Developed by Hideaway Inns and managed by Revival Hotels, the 32-room hotel brings the brand's design-forward guest rooms, frictionless technology, and communal spaces to one of New England's most scenic mountain settings. Set on a ridgeline property formerly known as the Sunset Hill House, the hotel continues Hideaway Inns' expansion across underserved regional drive-to markets in the Northeast.
Perched high in Sugar Hill with sweeping views of the White Mountains to the east and the Green Mountains to the west, Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch is perfectly positioned for year-round adventure. Guests are just minutes from Franconia Notch State Park, Echo Lake, and countless hiking trails. In the winter, Cannon Mountain is minutes away, with Loon Mountain and Bretton Woods also within easy reach. Each June, Sugar Hill's famous lupine fields transform the surrounding landscape, drawing visitors from across New England. The charming village of Franconia sits just down the mountain, while nearby Littleton offers a vibrant Main Street filled with restaurants, breweries, cafés, and local shops. Less than two and a half hours from Boston, the hotel is an ideal destination for weekend getaways, scenic road trips, and longer stays in the White Mountains.
Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch is powered by Revival Hotels' proprietary Invisible Hospitality™ model, enabling seamless direct-to-door check-in. Each of the 32 guest rooms is uniquely designed and includes a Hideaway-branded Crosley record player, a rainfall showerhead, a white noise machine, and amenities from La Bottega. The property features three suites — the Cannon Suite, the Sunset Hill House Suite, and the White Mountain Suite — alongside a range of room types. Guests also have access to the Innsider Guide, a mobile app that serves as a personal concierge with curated recommendations, local insights, and on-property information.
The hotel offers shared spaces suitable for guests of all ages. The Living Room opens to sweeping White Mountain views in a relaxed, BYOB-friendly setting. The Commons offers billiards and a place to settle in with a drink. The Hideout gives children a dedicated retreat while families unwind. Work From Hideaway provides a spacious coworking setup for guests who need to stay productive. Downstairs, an event space accommodates up to 250 guests for celebrations and gatherings. Just 30 feet from the main house, The Lodge is available as a separate buyout for guests seeking added privacy without booking the full hotel.
Additional Hideaway Inn properties are under development across the Northeast, with Killington, VT next in the pipeline among several openings expected over the coming year. The brand continues to target regional markets underserved by traditional hotel offerings.
