Franklin Marriott Cool Springs Hotel and Conference Center in Tennessee Unveils $10 Million Renovation
Chartwell Hospitality, an integrated hotel operations and development company, has completed a $10 million renovation of the 303-room Franklin Marriott Cool Springs Hotel and Conference Center, located at 700 Cool Springs Blvd. in Franklin, Tennessee. The extensive upgrades include a complete refresh of the 30,000-square-foot Conference Center, updated guest rooms and lobby and enhancements to Stave Regional Kitchen & Lounge. Chartwell Hospitality acquired the property in 2018, following the hotel’s last extensive renovation in 2016.
Thoughtful service meets modern technology at the Conference Center, a versatile space with multiple rooms designed to accommodate everything from board meetings and group conventions to rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Co-owned by the City of Franklin and Williamson County, it now boasts updated carpet, lighting, décor, paint and furniture. A refined palette of warm neutrals, layered with ivory, taupe and charcoal accents, creates a stylish setting for sophisticated corporate and social events. Coffered ceilings and decorative wall paneling adorn a reimagined Champion Ballroom that accommodates up to 1,200 guests for galas and receptions or 1,900 attendees for seated conferences.
Updates to the hotel include:
- The Marriott Greatroom is the pulse of the hotel, welcoming guests to a lively, multi-functional gathering place with stylish comfort in mind. The lobby features a redesigned front desk, fresh paint and all-new furnishings, creating an open environment for collaborating and relaxing.
- Each spacious guest room seamlessly blends style and functionality. Updates include vinyl flooring, fresh paint, beds and bedding, wall coverings throughout the guest rooms and bathrooms, new window treatments, bathroom vanities, lighting, artwork and contemporary furnishings. Double rooms feature new lounge chairs, while king rooms now offer comfortable chaise lounges. Smart TVs, dedicated workspaces and modern amenities further elevate the experience.
- Stave Regional Kitchen & Lounge has also been refreshed with decorative enhancements, including new, relaxed casual seating and a striking brass-topped bar that serves as the centerpiece of the space. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails and live music on select evenings each week while experiencing a warm, inviting atmosphere. The restaurant continues to feature chef-inspired cuisine prepared with locally sourced, hand-selected ingredients whenever possible.
- All-new patio furnishings, umbrellas, a firepit and refreshed landscaping extend the hospitality outdoors.
Located off Interstate 65 just 20 minutes outside of Nashville, Franklin Marriott Cool Springs Hotel and Conference Center offers convenient access to historic downtown Franklin, FirstBank Amphitheater and Arrington Vineyards.
