Ascott Partners with SIMCO Group to Open Ascott West Hanoi in Vietnam’s Capital
The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a Singapore-headquartered global hospitality company wholly owned by CapitaLand Investment (CLI), has signed a management agreement with SIMCO Group (Steel Industry Material Joint Stock Company) to operate Ascott West Hanoi. Slated to open in Q1 2030, the project marks the first collaboration between the two partners and reinforces Ascott’s continued expansion in Hanoi’s fast-growing western commercial corridor.
The signing brings Ascott’s total operational and pipeline portfolio in Vietnam to 43 properties with more than 12,000 units nationwide. For SIMCO Group, the partnership marks a strategic move into luxury hospitality, building on its strong industrial foundation and track record in real estate development to contribute to Hanoi’s evolving urban and commercial landscape.
