Park Hyatt Riviera Maya
Park Hyatt arrives in Riviera Maya with the brand’s first all-inclusive experience
The arrival of Park Hyatt Riviera Maya in November 2026 will mark the next phase of a bold new chapter for Park Hyatt and redefine the standard for luxury travellers seeking the beachside serenity of the Riviera Maya.
As the first Park Hyatt branded all-inclusive resort, the property will bring the storied hotel collection’s lauded culinary expertise, the modern luxury Park Hyatt experience, and uncompromising service standards to a new and exciting format.
The launch comes amid a wave of exciting new developments for Park Hyatt, both globally and particularly in Mexico—a rapidly emerging destination among discerning travellers worldwide. The first Park Hyatt foray into Mexico, Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol opened its doors on the wild sands of Baja California in December 2025, and Park Hyatt Mexico City is slated to bring its distinctive ethos of effortless glamour to the capital in early 2027.
A serene sanctuary among the mangroves
Set in seclusion within AMAI, an enclave of luxury retreats set by the white-sand Caribbean shore between Cancún and Puerto Morelos, Park Hyatt Riviera Maya is designed to transport guests away from the everyday world from the moment of arrival.
Embraced by the winding mangrove coastline, the resort architecture cultivates an ambience of spaciousness and ease, naturally allowing for moments of privacy and connection, feeling peaceful no matter the season.
Park Hyatt Riviera Maya will incorporate regionally-sourced materials, and draw upon traditional Mexican construction and craft techniques. Interiors will showcase selected works from Yucatan-based artists, complemented with furniture and millwork by regional artisans. Through the dialogue between indoor and outdoor design narratives, guests will find themselves immersed in a contemporary, high-design Mexican escape—grounded in its Riviera Maya setting in a way that feels distinctly Park Hyatt.
A Park Hyatt experience rooted in place
Park Hyatt Riviera Maya will comprise 148 guest rooms and suites, all looking out over the Caribbean Sea, with a selection featuring their own private swimming and plunge pools. The crown jewel of the property, a 2,300sqft penthouse, will cater to guests seeking the ultimate in comfort, unparalleled privacy and expansive space.
The resort is designed to offer an immersive and intuitive experience from pre-arrival to check out. A dedicated Resort Ambassador will be assigned to each guest before arrival, ensuring every stay is personalized and seamless, with every need met before a question has to be asked.
Culinary excellence is central to the Park Hyatt experience, and the all-inclusive framework provides an opportunity to shift the paradigm for the category. Locally driven Mexican cuisine and fresh seafood will take center stage, with curated global influences guest-starring on refined, modern menus across seven venues, each with a distinct character and ambience anchored in Park Hyatt’s world-renowned approach to exceptional food and beverage experiences.
A short stroll takes guests to the sea, where watersports and leisurely beach days await, or to the beachfront swimming pool lined with private cabanas, ideal for families, couples and groups to while away days in the sun. Nearby, an open-air spa garden hosts revitalizing daily wellness rituals and leads to the hydrotherapy suite and spa treatment rooms, offering a range of therapies inspired by local wellbeing traditions. Guests will enjoy privileged access to the El Tinto Golf Course close to the resort, while being within easy reach of Cancún’s foremost attractions. Versatile event spaces, both indoors and alfresco, will be woven throughout, offering considered settings for celebrations and gatherings of all kinds.
A new era for Park Hyatt
The 2026 opening of Park Hyatt Riviera Maya will be swiftly followed by the arrival of Park Hyatt Mexico City in early 2027, spanning the brand from sand to city. In addition to the brand’s growth in the Mexico market, two further sister hotels, Park Hyatt Phu Quoc in Vietnam and Park Hyatt Vancouver will also open their doors in 2027. These launches reflect the collection’s growing momentum as it expands into new territories in terms of both geography and service offering – bringing a highly-curated all-inclusive experience to the luxury travel market for the first time in its more than 45 years of history.
