Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon

Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon Is Now Open

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has opened Mövenpick Resort  & Spa Bintan Lagoon, a new beachfront resort on the Indonesian island of Bintan. Located on Bintan’s  northern coast and easily accessible by ferry from Singapore, the resort brings Mövenpick’s generous  hospitality and convivial culinary spirit to a relaxed island setting designed for time well spent together.  Welcoming families, couples, friends, teams and business travellers, the resort combines accommodation,  dining, recreation, wellness, golf and extensive meetings and events facilities.

Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon features 408 rooms and suites, each with a private balcony or  terrace overlooking the gardens or sea. Accommodation ranges from Deluxe Rooms and Premium Terrace  Rooms to Junior, Executive, Ambassador and Presidential Suites, with contemporary interiors designed for  both short breaks and longer stays.

Culinary experiences sit at the heart of the Mövenpick experience, creating opportunities for guests to come  together throughout the day. Port 19, the all-day dining restaurant, serves Indonesian, Asian and  international cuisine alongside live cooking stations, while Yokatta Izakaya & Bar offers Japanese  favourites including sushi, udon, yakitori and sake.

Klon-Tong Deli draws inspiration from Bintan in the 1980s, serving pastries, ice cream, local specialities  and coffee, while the Recreation Village Sports Lounge offers casual dining alongside live sports. Ocean  Pool Bar provides drinks and light bites from its swim-up setting.

On the beachfront, the two-storey Soñada Beach Club offers Pan-Asian and Italian dishes, cocktails, a  pool, beachfront cabanas and weekend DJ sessions. Guests can also experience Mövenpick’s signature  Chocolate Hour, a daily ritual that invites guests to pause and reconnect over the simple joy of chocolate.

Recreation is a key part of the resort experience, with spaces and activities designed to encourage guests  to spend meaningful time together. The Recreation Village brings together fitness, sports, family activities  and casual dining, with yoga and Pilates sessions, a fitness centre and spaces for guests to relax or take  part in organised activities.

For younger guests, Little Birds Club provides dedicated indoor and outdoor play areas, arts and crafts  and interactive activities. The resort also offers swimming pools, kayaking, paddleboarding and other non motorised water sports.

Guests have access to Bintan Lagoon International Golf, with two 18-hole golf courses designed by Jack  Nicklaus and Ian Baker-Finch.

Shantara Spa & Wellness provides a dedicated space for relaxation and wellbeing, with private treatment  rooms, couples’ rooms, reflexology and facial treatments, together with a sauna and steam room. Its  treatment menu combines massage, movement and wellness rituals inspired by the island and regional  traditions.

Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon also offers more than 2,000 square metres of meetings and events  space. At its centre is a 900-square-metre Grand Ballroom, complemented by flexible function spaces for  meetings, conferences, incentives, weddings and social events. Outdoor areas across the beachfront resort  provide additional options for team activities and celebrations.
