NoMad Singapore

Positioned at the heart of the vibrant and rapidly evolving Orchard Road, NoMad Singapore offers a prime address with immediate access to curated retail and lifestyle destinations, as well as historic enclaves that showcase Singapore’s rich cultural heritage, all just minutes from the Central Business District.

Designed by Singapore’s renowned architecture firm WOHA with interiors by Los Angeles-based studio Kevin Klein Design, NoMad Singapore will span a 10,225-square-metre footprint, and feature 173 guestrooms, including 25 suites.

Developed in partnership with UOL Group, the project reimagines the former Faber House building at the bustling Cairnhill intersection with a cascading 14-story waterfall and verdant vertical façade, introducing a bold biophilic identity to Orchard Road.

The hotel brings a local lens to NoMad’s New York roots and European sensibility, reinterpreting the brand’s layered aesthetic through the vernacular of Art Deco style and Peranakan tradition.

The arrival experience will begin on the fifth level of the building, where guests will be welcomed into an open-air reception with Lù bar extending onto a terrace and pool, offering a quiet sanctuary with lush greenery and soft furnishings, overlooking Orchard Road.

Above, 173 guestrooms and suites will unfold across 12 levels. Elegant spaces featuring rich marble, burlwood, custom wool rugs, and paravent screens will offer a refined expression of contemporary luxury hospitality. Characterised by pale blue and green walls, the spaces will reflect interior design traditions typical of the region and the Peranakan shophouses located nearby at Emerald Hill.

Guestrooms and suites include 71 ‘Atelier’ rooms, featuring a 32-square-metre footprint and a living area complete with a bathtub. These will be complemented by 25 suites – 42-square-metre ‘Parlour Suites’ and 43-square-metre ‘NoMad Suites’ – each thoughtfully designed with considered living spaces, bathtubs, and double-sink bathrooms, offering a serene and sophisticated retreat in the heart of the city.

The NoMad Grill restaurant sits at the summit of the building, with ornamental columns and a high, tin-coffered ceiling drawing parallels with classic New York dining rooms. A quintessential New York chophouse reimagined for Singapore, NoMad Grill brings together the warmth and energy of a favourite local restaurant with the food, atmosphere, and sense of occasion of a true destination experience. The menu is anchored by dry aged meats from around the world cooked over wood fire, alongside a vibrant raw bar, pristine seafood, seasonal produce and NoMad favourites. Delicious, generous and full of energy, NoMad Grill is designed to be as fitting for a celebratory night out as it is for a martini, oysters or steak at the bar.

Sitting alongside, The Tropicana Club offers a vibrant craft cocktail bar, inspired by the golden age of cabaret and the glamour and exuberance of Havana in the 1940s and 1950s. Drawing influence from both Havana’s legendary Tropicana Club (1939) and Singapore’s own pioneering Tropicana Club (1968), the venue reimagines the spirit of these iconic destinations through a contemporary NoMad lens.

Located at street level, Sticky Fingers is a new concept from the NoMad brand serving house-made gourmet soft-serve sundaes with a twist. Inspired by classic nostalgia sprinkled with adult decadence, the intimate space brings a playful new energy to Singapore’s dining scene.

A collection of more than 1,860 artworks will be featured throughout the hotel, thoughtfully curated through a distinctly Singaporean lens. Consisting of 90% works by Singapore-based artists, the collection blends commissioned and original pieces across mediums ranging from oil on copper, acrylic photography and large-scale bas-relief installations. The curation explores a thoughtful balance between past and present, connecting the distinctly modern exterior with the richly layered interiors – contemporary street photography, floral compositions, original exhibition posters and historical ephemera – creating a nuanced visual narrative that celebrates Singapore’s cultural tapestry and encapsulates the creative energy of the contemporary city. As part of the art programme, NoMad Singapore is championing and commissioning artists with disabilities, working in partnership with ART:DIS, a non-profit organization that advocates for greater access to the arts for persons with disabilities. The partnership builds on UOL’s longstanding support of ART:DIS, creating opportunities for artists with disabilities to develop their practice and reach new audiences.
