Chapitre Six Reveals Bourbon Hotel: Courchevel 1850’s Bold New Alpine Address

Chapitre Six, a collection of independently owned hotels across France, has officially announced its arrival in Courchevel 1850 with the opening of Bourbon Hotel on 18 December 2026. Nestled in the world-famous Golden Triangle with direct ski-in, ski-out access to Les Trois Vallées, this intimate 28-room and three-suite hideaway brings an ultra-stylish alternative to standard alpine hospitality.

Founded under the vision of Nicholas Saltiel, Chapitre Six continues its thoughtful expansion across France’s most coveted destinations - following acclaimed openings in Paris, including the recent revival of Bus Palladium, and ahead of a flagship project in Cannes, launching in 2027.

Breaking away from traditional alpine chalet aesthetics, Bourbon Hotel will offer one of Courchevel’s most distinctive design-led addresses, bringing a bold new energy to the resort. Bourbon Hotel draws its identity from the dynamic tension of its name; a subtle nod to the rituals of French nobility combined with the smooth, warm amber of a late-night pour. Designed by the Parisian Studio Henry, the moody, retro interiors channel the exclusive feel of a private London club. Pairing rich velvets and dark woods with low lighting and deep armchairs, the space evokes an aristocrat’s alpine retreat. Distinct artistic direction by Paris-based Pierre-Alexis Guinet (renowned for creative work with fashion powerhouses Balenciaga and Hermès) infuses every corner with flair, framing striking, panoramic mountain views through floor-to-ceiling glass.

Adding to the strong gastronomy scene of Courchevel will be Simonetta, an Italian-inspired mountain trattoria, led by acclaimed chef Simone Zanoni. Marking his mountain debut, the restaurant pays homage to his Italian grandmother and the cherished Sunday lunches of his childhood. Rooted in heritage and tradition, the restaurant’s cuisine is refined by Chef Simone’s background at the Michelin-starred Le George at the George V Hotel in Paris, bringing the vibrant spirit and elegance of world-class dining to Courchevel. After dark, the attention turns to the hotel’s stylish cocktail and vinyl bar, built around a welcoming fireplace and ever-evolving record selection. Playing host to vinyl sessions and a menu of original cocktails, Bourbon Hotel is set to become Courchevel’s ultimate destination for après-ski and evening revelry.

Designed for complete post-piste renewal and pre night-out rejuvenation, the hotel features a subterranean spa focused on contrast therapy. Enveloped in natural stone and onyx, the sanctuary offers a tranquil indoor pool, sauna, and hammam alongside tailored treatments designed to restore the body and mind after a day on the slopes.

Ideally positioned in the center of Courchevel 1850, Bourbon Hotel delivers effortless ski-in, ski-out access directly onto the slopes of Les Trois Vallées, while placing guests just moments from the resort’s luxury boutiques, fine dining and nightlife spots.
