APT. Stamford Place

Now Open: Singapore’s Latest Hospitality Concept APT. Makes Its Debut at Stamford Place

APT. has officially opened at Stamford Place, introducing a new serviced-living experience designed around the freedom to stay your way — combining the comforts of home with thoughtful hospitality and connected city living. Set across Levels Three and Four of the reimagined Civic District landmark, APT. comprises 66 design-led serviced apartments available for stays from six nights to a few weeks, or an entire season.

Designed for today's modern traveller, APT. takes its name from both the apartment experience and the idea of being "apt" — fitting by nature and designed for the way people live today. It combines the comfort of home with the ease of intuitive hospitality, giving guests the freedom to live, work and explore on their own terms.

A Place to Settle In

Guided by the belief that home is a feeling rather than simply a place, APT.'s apartments have been designed to offer comfort, flexibility and independence throughout each stay. The collection spans seven room types: APT. Studio, APT. Deluxe, APT. Urban, Stamford Suite, Stamford Premier Suite, Hill Suite, and Canning and Civic Suite.

The APT. Studio (24 square metres) keeps city living simple, bringing together a king-sized bed, a dedicated workspace, a minibar and discreet under-bed luggage storage. Selected Studios open onto a shared vestibule with filtered drinking water, a sink, refrigerator and microwave. When adjacent apartments are reserved together, the vestibule becomes a private shared space for families and groups — room to stay connected, with a door to close when privacy calls.

When a few nights become a few weeks, the APT. Deluxe (29 square metres) and APT. Urban (35 to 38 square metres) offer more room to make the stay your own. Well-equipped kitchenettes give guests the freedom to prepare a familiar meal, ease into their workday, or simply live on their own schedule.

For longer stays or those travelling together, the Stamford Suite and Stamford Premier Suite (35 to 38 square metres) offer a more residential layout, with separate living and sleeping areas, private kitchenettes and in-room washers and dryers. The 37-square-metre Hill Suite provides added space and privacy for families or travelling companions, while retaining a shared setting in which to gather, unwind and feel at home.

APT.'s most spacious accommodations are the Canning and Civic Suites (47 square metres). Located on the building's corners and overlooking Fort Canning and the Civic District, each features a separate living area, abundant natural light and a deep bathtub. A well-equipped kitchenette and in-room washer and dryer complete the experience, bringing the practical comforts of home to an extended city stay.

Mindful Living, Thoughtfully Supported

Each apartment features hybrid cooling, combining ceiling fans with air-conditioning to reduce reliance on air-conditioning where possible and support more energy-conscious stays. Premium filtered drinking water taps help reduce reliance on single-use bottled water.

Inside, thoughtful comforts bring an easy familiarity to each stay, including casting-enabled televisions, Bang & Olufsen portable speakers, Malin + Goetz bath amenities, and APT.-branded robes and slippers. Illy coffee machines are available in APT. Deluxe and APT. Urban rooms, while APT. Suites offer added independence with in-room washers and dryers.

Wellness is integrated into daily life through a 24-hour gym equipped with Technogym equipment. The wider experience is supported by 24-hour reception and concierge services, housekeeping and round-the-clock laundry facilities for rooms without a washer and dryer. Airport transfers, parking with EV charging and selected dining offerings are also available at an additional charge.

Residents also enjoy access to The Great Room by Industrious, which occupies 30,000 square feet across Levels Two and Three of Stamford Place. Its hospitality-led coworking spaces, private suites and meeting rooms provide flexible settings to focus, collaborate or host, allowing residents to move seamlessly between home and work without leaving the building.

Where the Comfort of Home Meets the Art of Time

The interiors have been conceived by Singapore-based interdisciplinary practice Ministry of Design, which drew inspiration from Stamford Place's distinctive clock tower and the architectural character of the surrounding Civic District. Its design language brings together two narratives: the relaxed domesticity of Singapore's black-and-white houses and the intricate world of horology — the study, measurement and craft of time.

Arches, ovals and radiating geometries recur throughout the spaces, recalling the movement of gears and clock faces. These are balanced by warm timber, tactile finishes and a soft, residential palette, creating an environment that feels contemporary yet rooted in place.

Art is woven throughout the experience, meticulously curated by art consultancy The Artling, which commissioned works by Singaporean and Singapore-based artists for the apartments and shared spaces.

Connected to the City, Grounded in the Neighbourhood

APT. is located at the corner of Stamford Road and Hill Street, four minutes from City Hall MRT and within easy reach of the Civic District's cultural institutions, green spaces, restaurants and retail attractions.

At ground level, a curated collection of dining and retail concepts gives residents convenient places to dine, meet and unwind throughout the day. At its heart, Stamford Social will offer an all-day gathering place inspired by the relaxed cafés and bistros of Europe, with a menu that moves from morning to evening, approachable wines and thoughtful hospitality carrying the experience from morning coffee and business lunches to after-work drinks, dinner with friends and special celebrations.

The wider line-up includes Blue Label Tavern, known for its stone-fired pizzas and elevated takes on American classics; Yoruya, serving ramen by day and yakitori by night; Nanyang Old Coffee, known for its traditional Singapore-style kopi; and Cold Storage On The Go for grab-and-go options and everyday essentials. Australian gelato favourite Gelato Messina and American-style Hong Kong bake shop Butter will also join the destination, with further concepts to be revealed.

APT. is located on Levels Three and Four of Stamford Place at 61 Stamford Road. Check-in is from 3.00pm and check-out is at 12.00pm. A minimum stay of six nights applies. For more information, visit aptlife.sg and follow @apt.live on Instagram.
