As a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Barnett began his hotel career in sales and marketing for Marriott Hotels & Resorts before entering Marriott’s Executive ID training program. His experience includes executive management positions with Marriott, Adam’s Mark, Radisson, and Hilton branded properties. Most recently he was the pre-opening general manager at a new resort at the Lake of the Ozarks, MO. While his career has taken him to such varied locales as Denver, Dallas, Kansas City, Syracuse, Nashville, and St. Louis, Mike is excited about being back in Texas, and looks forward to calling Austin home.
