Marco Polo Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Sartain as General Manager of the Marco Polo Wuhan in China, with effect from November 23, 2009. Mr Sartain is an experienced hotelier with over 15 years experience of operating 4 and 5 star hotels and has specific expertise in food and beverage. He has held positions with Jarvis Hotels, Metrople Hotels and had a long career with Hilton in the UK. Prior to joining Marco Polo, he was the General Manager of The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore, the flagship hotel of the Millennium Copthorne Group.
