Bede Barry has been appointed as General Manager at Grand Lapa hotel

Mr Barry has more than 17 years of international hotel management experience, mostly gained with the Hyatt Corporation. He joined the Group in 2007 as Resident Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Immediately prior to this he was based in Chicago, as Director of Marketing Operations for Hyatt. Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Hirst, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s Operations Director, Asia said, “We are delighted to announce this well deserved appointment. I have no doubt that Bede will excel in his role.”
