Ito, who has 26 years of hotel hospitality experience gathered on the U.S. Mainland and Hawaii, has been with Marriott International since 2000 when he was named general manager of Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island. Four years later, he relocated to Honolulu to become the director of operations at the 1,310-room Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. Most recently, he has been general manager of the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, a post he returned to in 2007. Ito was born and raised in Hawaii.
