Denise O’Laughlin comes to Chaminade Resort & Spa with over a decade of progressive human resources experience, having served at the departmental level and as a strategic partner implementing global projects. Most recently she was director of human resources for John Q. Hammonds Hotels in Monterey, California. In this role she created highly successful employee safety programs and worker satisfaction and retention programs. Previous to this, Ms. O’Laughlin held senior-level human resource positions for a variety of companies in the technology industry within Silicon Valley, including positions with global reach. Denise O’Laughlin holds a Master’s of Science degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics – both from the University of San Francisco. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resources and USF Alumni Association. She and her family reside in Hollister, California.
