A familiar face at Hilton Waikoloa Village, Grace began her career at the resort as an intern while attending Washington State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Hospitality Business Management. Grace found continued success at the resort in the human resources department. In her most recent role of training manager, Grace lead all Management Training Programs, achieved “green” on the Hilton Waikoloa Village Balanced Score Card Training Index every year as training manager, received a perfect score on the resort’s Quality Assurance Audit Training Documentation section for three years, and led the bi-monthly Business Partners’ Orientation for all on-property vendors.
Grace has consistently held leadership positions throughout her career and will use her strong property and Big Island knowledge in her new role. As the Chairperson for the Team Member Holiday Party, International Day and All Team Member Pep Rally, a member of the Culture Committee, and Manager of the Quarter for Hilton Waikoloa Village, Grace developed tenacious bonds with resort leadership, employees and visitors. As a member of a family with deep ties to the Big Island, Grace understands the distinct culture and tradition the resort shares with its guests. This appreciation of Hawaiian philosophy and heritage will allow her to greatly succeed in her new sales position.
