Waterford Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Lynda Plain as General Manager of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Ithaca in the Village of Lansing. As General Manager, Plain will be responsible for all phases of the hotel's operations, sales and administration. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm, professionally manages the 91-room hotel With more than 23 years of hospitality management experience, Plain joins the Homewood Suites Ithaca team from her most recent position as General Manager and Spa Director for the Spa at The Del Monte in Rochester, NY. She had previously served as General Manager at the Marriott Courtyard in Binghamton, NY and the Hampton Inn in Johnson City, NY. She began her hospitality career in 1987 at the Holiday Inn Suny/Arena in Binghamton, NY, where she served in several different management capacities.
