Craig Martin has been appointed as Managing Director at Gansevoort Miami Beach

Martin brings more than three decades of national and international senior-management level experience to Gansevoort Miami Beach. Most recently, Martin was chief operating officer of Sunset Resorts in Jamaica where he was outwardly involved in marketing and sales, and managed quality control programs, budgets and organizational structure internally. Previously, Martin held the position of consultant at both Northern Quest Casino and Coconut Bay Resort, simultaneously. Here, he worked to develop master plans for both resorts, including, construction, operations and training. Prior to that, Martin was general manager at El Conquistador Resort & Casino in Puerto Rico where he oversaw the hotel’s marketing team. Martin entered the hospitality field with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, first in New York and then in New Jersey. Martin’s previous experience encompasses an impressive list of properties, including: Atlantis Resort and Casino, in Nassau, Bahamas; Hyatt Regency in Lake Tahoe, Nevada; and Rose Hall Resort and Country Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
