Nicholas was promoted to his new position after two years as the resort’s Director of Conferences & Incentives and will relocate from Sydney to Fiji for the role. In his new expanded position, he will continue to oversee the resort’s C&I activity and in addition overlook all other segments including the wholesale and leisure markets. Nicholas originally joined Sofitel Luxury Hotels in 2008 from CI Events where he was Business Manager, armed with strong experience in hotel business development. Previously he was with Starwood Hotels and Resorts for 12 years, and the Intercontinental hotel in Sydney where he focussed on the corporate market segment.
