Harry Lunt moves down the street to reopen the famous The Cheshire Inn as General Manager for (LHM) Lodging Hospitality Management. The Cheshire is scheduled to reopen in July after a multi-million dollar refurbishment.
Lunt most recently spent the last two years opening The Moonrise Hotels (Part of Desires Hotels) where he held the title of Director of Sales & Marketing.
Lunt has worked in various sales and operations positions including Director of Food & Beverage for The St. Louis Blues, GM of Grand Prix Speedways, along with manager and Director positions with the St. Regis in Dana Point, the St. Regis in Aspen, The Lodge & Spa in Cordillera, along with The Waldorf=Astoria in NYC.
Mr. Lunt is a seasoned travel and hospitality executive. Lunt spent the first twelve years of his career traveling to 133 countries with Intrav, the St. Louis based International Travel Company (formerly owned by Mr. Barney Ebsworth); with The five-star, five-diamond Renaissance Cruise Line as Director of Guest Services, and as a Regional Sales & Marketing Director, with Royal Olympic Cruise Lines.
Lunt started with Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 1999, where he earned the North American Award for excellence in Catering & Convention Services in his first year with Westin. The following year, Lunt was then hand-picked to open the prestigious St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa in Dana Point, CA. As an opening Director, Lunt and his team of over 100 earned the coveted five-star, five-diamond award given to only a rarified few. Lunt has held Senior Sales and Director of Operation positions (and won prestigious awards) at some of the highest ranked hotels and resorts in the nation, including the St. Regis, Aspen and Lodge & Spa at Cordillera in the Vail Valley, and perhaps the greatest of them all the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.
