Most recently, Aguilar was Rooms Division Consultant for Sand Pearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida, a 253-room, 4-Diamond, Silver LEED certified resort.
Previously, Aguilar has worked with some of the top resorts in the country. He was Director of Operations/Assistant General Manager for The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera, a Forbes 4 Star golf resort in the Vail Valley, Colorado. Aguilar's duties included creating a ski-in facility program and overseeing all Food & Beverage outlets including two fine dining restaurants, two casual restaurants, banquet department and room service, with combined annual revenues of $5 million
At Stein Eriksen Lodge, a Forbes 5 Star property at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah, Aguilar was Director of Front Office Operations where he was responsible for the planning and execution of the Rooms Operation during 2002 Winter Olympic Games and for helping to implement an effective Front Office strategy to achieve Forbes 5 Stars and Five Diamond status within two years.
Aguilar's experience extends to other luxury properties such as The Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, California, The St. Regis Aspen, and The Ritz Carlton Aspen.
