Oliver Geyer has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) at InterContinental Prague

Oliver Geyer, 38, started his hotel career in 1995 at the Munich Park Hilton, Germany. He has worked for Hilton, Marriott and Kameha Hotels mainly in Germany, and this appointment is his first experience with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). In his carrier he worked also in Denmark for Marriott Copenhagen (05/2006 – 01/2010) and has rich experience on the operational field, mainly Front Office as Director of Rooms Operations and service. His previous position and also first assignment as Executive Assistant Manager was in 2010 at the brandly new open hotel Kameha Grand in Bonn, which became Hotel of the Year 2011 in Germany. In his new role, Oliver will report directly to Alexander Schreiter, General Manager InterContinental Prague. His goal will be to maintain and improve the quality of service of the operational departments, Front Office, housekeeping and Health Club & Spa and in the same time also improve their departmental profit. Furthermore he will be in charge of IT and engineering department and is excited to be intensively involved in the upcoming refurbishments of the Hotel. Oliver Geyer was born in Mannheim. He is married and has 2 sons Kilian (14) and Elias (3). His hobbies are football, tennis, good wines and food, and family is very important to him.
