Martin Van Kan joins the luxury hotel brand as general manager, Fairmont Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. With over 25 years of hospitality experience, Van Kan brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position and a worldly awareness having worked in a number of places including Seoul, Indonesia, Nepal and China. Van Kan is a graduate of the Hotel and Tourism School, Les Roches, in Switzerland. Van Kan held several managerial positions throughout his career across a variety of markets, namely in Asia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom.
