In his role, Bickart is responsible for leading Lakeway’s team of sales professionals and implementing new brand initiatives for the resort. Bickart has over 35 years of experience working in the hotel industry all over the east coast and Texas.
Most recently, Bickart has been the Chief Sales Officer at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas where he was responsible for the revenue development and oversaw group and transient sales along with event planning for the last four years. Prior to that, he spent five years at Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the 303 room resort.
Bickart started his career at Smuggler’s Notch Resort in Smuggler’s Notch, Vermont and worked at two southeastern resorts before coming to Texas-- Wintergreen Resort in Wintergreen, Virginia and Daufuskie Island in South Carolina. While at Daufuskie Island and Barton Creek Resort & Spa his department won Department of the Year in 2000 and 2004 respectively.
