Wayne, who recently commenced his new role, takes over from Adrian Williams who after 3 years in the position has moved to Perth to commence his new appointment as Regional General Manager, Accor Western Australia. Wayne brings a wealth of hospitality experience to the role having managed a number of properties in Queensland, New South Wales, and Fiji. After completing his Associate Diploma in Hospitality Management in Townsville in 1990, Wayne commenced a career in food and beverage working at a number of hospitality establishments in Queensland and the Northern Territory. In July 2002 Wayne joined the Accor group as Food and Beverage Manager of the Novotel Brighton Beach, Sydney. Wayne was appointed Executive Assistant Manager of Novotel Northbeach, Wollongong in 2004. After a promotion to General Manager of Grand Mercure, The Vintage, Hunter Valley, Wayne continued his career with Accor and soaked up the Fijian sand and sunshine as Executive Assistant Manager at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa from November 2006.
