Robin Wicks has been named chief executive at Sanguine Hospitality

Sanguine Hospitality has appointed Robin Wicks as chief executive to lead its expansion plans. The group, founded by Liverpool entrepreneur Simon Matthews- Williams, plans to open six more hotels in the next 12 months. Mr Wicks, who was already a non-executive director at Sanguine, spent 16 years at Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), where he served as chief operating office for Europe. Sanguine opened its first Hotel Indigo in Liverpool this year. Sanguine will open two more boutique hotels under the Indigo brand, which is owned by IHG, in coming months.
