Swiss-Belhotel International has appointed Mr. Albert Jan Vasseur as Regional Operations Manager to be based at the Indonesia Regional Office in Jakarta. Mr. Vasseur is on a three months assignment. Mr. Vasseur will be transferring from his current position as Resort Manager of Swiss-Belhotel International's Golden Palm Tree Resort and Spa in Malaysia.
A graduate in Hotel Management from the Hotel Management School (COOVI-PIVIT), Brussels, Belgium, Mr. Vasseur has more than 20 years experience in the hotel industry. A speaker of five languages, Mr. Vasseur regularly participates in advanced training programmes, such as 'F&B Sales Improvement Programme' (HIWW), 'High Performance Financial Management for Hotels' (Cornell University), 'Principles of W.O.W.' (HIWW), and is currently pursuing his Certified Hotel Administrator certification.
Mr. Vasseur's career in hotel management includes senior management positions at international hotels and resorts in Brussels, Antwerp, London, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Singapore, Phuket, Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), Tunisia, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Cyprus, Turkey and Sabah, prior to his being appointed as Resort Manager of Golden Palm Tree Iconic Resort and Spa in Selangor, Malaysia.
