Robert Wormall has been appointed as General Manager at The Talbot Hotel

Robert Wormall
Robert Wormall has been appointed General Manager for the Talbot Hotel which re-opens in the spring. Robert, who has been working as project manager prior to the hotel’s launch, was delighted when his appointment was confirmed by Sir Philip Naylor-Leyland, owner of the Fitzwilliam Estate and the Talbot Hotel. Robert said, “The Talbot Hotel is such a handsome building and I am excited about its potential. As well as being the hub for local socialising I believe it will be a huge asset to the town attracting visitors from further afield. Having had the opportunity to be involved in the development of the hotel from the beginning I am looking forward to the next stage when we open the doors to welcome our first guests.” The Talbot Hotel has been owned by the Fitzwilliam Estate for over 200 years and there are archives dating back to the mid 17th century. Facilities will include 26 bedrooms including 2 suites and rooms with four poster beds, restaurant, lounge, bar serving food and a private dining and meeting room. Outside the landscaped grounds offer car parking and space for a marquee.
