Scott Hamilton may be new to InterContinental Wellington as its general manager but is no stranger to the charms of Wellington itself. Hamilton says he is thrilled to have the opportunity to live in Wellington again with his family, having previously managed the city’s Duxton Hotel in the mid-00s. Hamilton has enjoyed considerable success in general manager roles with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) properties in Australia, most recently being general manager of Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders as well as IHG area manager of Human Resources for Victoria. Hamilton replaces Steven Greenwood who has moved to Crowne Plaza Terragal, New South Wales.
