Torsten K. Schulze has been named General Manager at Steigenberger Airport Hotel Berlin

Steigenberger Hotel Berlin Director Torsten K. Schulze has assumed additional managerial responsibility by being named as the General Manager of the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Berlin, a new 322 room hotel located at Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport. This position is in addition to his role as General Manager of the Steigenberger Hotel Berlin at Los-Angeles-Platz. After originally training as a hotel clerk, Mr. Schulze is able to offer proven expertise built up over many years in the international hotel business. The establishments at which he has worked include the Kempinski Hotel Libertador in Buenos Aires/Argentina and the Kempinski Hotel Checkers in Los Angeles. Whilst in the USA, Mr. Schulze also studied at Cornell University in Ithaca/New York. Following his return to Germany in 1993, he took up a position as Deputy Director of the Steigenberger Drei Mohren in Augsburg before moving on to managerial roles at the Steigenberger Esprix Hotel in Celle (today InterCityHotel Celle) and the Steigenberger Hotel Frankfurt City amongst others. Prior to his move to Berlin, Torsten K. Schulze managed the Steigenberger Hotel Metropolitan in Frankfurt and the InterCityHotel Frankfurt from October 2002 to March 2007.
