Anish Patney has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, CT. The newly renovated, 237-room full-service hotel is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel and convention center management firm. With more than 17 years hospitality experience, he has held numerous positions across several franchises, including Marriott, Starwood and Hilton. In 2000 Patney served as a Restaurant Manager at the Hilton Dedham in Boston, MA, and since that time has held such positions as Director of Outlets for the Sheraton in Framingham, MA, and Director of Banquets at the Westin in Providence, RI. He joined Waterford Hotel Group in 2006 as Director of Banquets for the Marriott Hartford Downtown in CT, where he was later promoted to Director of Food & Beverage. Patney most recently served as Director of Operations for the full-service, 285-room Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT. Patney holds a Diploma from the Institute of Hotel Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies from the Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, a Master of Business Administration degree in Hospitality Administration from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, and a Certificate in Restaurant Revenue Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
