As Director of Marketing for the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, John Farrelly is responsible for building awareness and sales for this future landmark of luxury. Joining Marriott International in the United Kingdom in 1999 as Director of Sales, Farrelly was involved in the rebranding and transition of the Swallow Four Seasons Hotel Manchester to the Manchester Airport Marriott. Moving up the ranks, Farrelly was named cluster director of sales and marketing in 2005 and made the move to the UAE to take on his Dubai role in late 2011. John is used to building and leading successful award winning teams and believes that the principle of success comes through investing in people and working as a team.
