Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of David Sullivan as General Manager of the latest addition to its portfolio, PARKROYAL on Pickering. Scheduled to be launched in Singapore this November, the hotel features a stunning hotel-in-a-garden concept and will be the flagship PARKROYAL hotel under the Groups PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts. Prior to his move to Singapore to helm the iconic PARKROYAL on Pickering, David spent four years as the General Manager of Pan Pacific Seattle, also managed by Pan Pacific Hotels Group. During this time, David championed and implemented the PanEarth programme which covers eight aspects of sustainable business - Energy, Water, Air Quality, Waste Stream, Community Partnerships, Communication, Associate Engagement and Procurement. Davids efforts and success at maintaining a healthy balance between profitability and sustainability earned the hotel several accolades including being the first hotel in the United States to receive the prestigious Green Globe Certification in recognition of its sustainable operation and management, as well as the American Hotel and Lodging Associations Outstanding Community Services Award. Pan Pacific Seattle has also ranked among the top three hotels in the city on TripAdvisor and distinguished itself as one of the employers of choice in Seattle.
