James DeLuca brings an extensive hospitality background and Napa Valley market experience to his new role with Bardessono. He was previously general manager of District 4, the large tasting lounge and wine bar in Napa, which collaborates with the region’s most exclusive wineries. Mr. DeLuca has also served as general manager for La Residence and for the North Block Hotel in Napa Valley. Earlier in his career, James DeLuca held leadership positions for luxury properties in New York. He is a graduate of Amherst College, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree with honors. Mr. DeLuca and his family reside and are active in Napa Valley. His wife, Sonya, heads the Napa Valley Grape Growers Association.
