The Curtis - a Doubletree by Hilton is pleased to announce that Carmen Cruz has been hired to serve as the Assistant General Manager, otherwise known as the “Hotel Whisperer” at Denver’s only pop culture-themed hotel. Managed by Denver’s Sage Hospitality, the 336-room Curtis encourages all guests to “Stay Happy with 13 themed guest room floors - including the “TV Mania Floor” and the “Mad About Music Floor.” In the lobby, front desk clerks are always willing to hula hoop with guests and a 5 & Dime novelty store brims with playful treats. Cruz most recently served as the Assistant General Manager of the Archstone, a contemporary luxury apartment community in Studio City, California. Prior to that, she was the Director of Rooms at the Hilton Pasadena and the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, as well as the Director of Front Office Operations at the Hilton San Francisco. She also spent more than a decade in hospitality management in Spain, including at the Barcelo Hotel Sants and the Fira Palace Hotel, both in Barcelona.

Carmen Cruz is an alumnus of Cornell | Nolan School of Hotel Administration .
