Athanassios N. Manos was promoted to General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko on November 01. He first joined the Kempinski property in Bansko in May 2011 as Executive Assistant Manager, a similar post that he also held previously at the Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan combined with Sales and Marketing (2008 – 2011) and Operations (2007 – 2008) roles. Earlier in his career he has traveled the Balkans gaining experience as Director of Food & Beverage in luxury hotel groups in Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Greece. Athanassios N. Manos holds a degree in hotel management from Advanced Hotel School of Rhodes and an MSc in hospitality management from Glasgow Caledonian University. Being a Greek national he speaks fluently English, Bulgarian, German and has fair knowledge of Croatian and Russian. The previous General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko, Mr. Orlando Stefani, has been appointed General Manager at Kempinski Grand Hotel Gelendzhik.
