CSM Lodging, a division of CSM Corporation, has named Robert Baker director of sales for the Residence Inn by Marriott, located in Mesa, Arizona. Joel Carver, vice president of Sales and Marketing, made the announcement. Robert Baker comes to his new role as director of sales with a diverse professional background. He previously managed restaurants for Red Robin Gourmet Burgers – one of the nation’s most successful and fastest growing casual dining establishments, and also served in management for Chili’s in the Persian Gulf. Earlier in his career, Mr. Baker held sales positions of increasing responsibility for major hotel brands. These included Hilton, Hyatt Regency and Marriott at hotels in Los Angeles and Albuquerque.
