Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Michel Morauw as General Manager of Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, formerly known as the Concorde Lafayette located in Paris, France. Hyatt will take over the management of Hotel Concorde Lafayette in April, as part of recently announced deal including four iconic hotels.
Mr Morauw will take over the role from his previous position as General Manager for Hyatt Paris Madeleine.
This seasoned hotelier will take over management of the Concorde Lafayette and oversee the rebranding to the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile.
Michel Morauw has a distinguished international career in the hotel industry. Graduating in 1982 from the school of hospitality in Lausanne in Switzerland, he began his career at the Hilton Group. In 1984, he joined the Hyatt Management Training Program at Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in the United States.
