Waterford Hotel Group recently announced the promotion of Christopher Beattie to the position of General Manager at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Danbury, CT. The 78-room Residence Inn is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm. As General Manager, Beattie will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the Residence Inn Danbury. He has more than nine years of hospitality experience, including serving as Guest Service Manager for the Country Inn & Suites in Cortland, NY. Beattie joined Waterford Hotel Group in 2010 as Operations Manager for the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Ithaca, NY, and has also most recently assisted with the Waterford’s Operations Task Force team.
