Bassam Zakaria has been appointed as Director of Rooms at The Cove Rotana Resort

With 12 years of hospitality experience, Zakaria first started with Rotana in 2006 when he held the position of Area Sales Manager. He later moved to the Al Ain Rotana as assistant director of sales and marketing before a promotion to director of sales and marketing in 2009. In his new role at the 204 room Cove Rotana Resort, Zakaria will be responsible for the overall coordination of the front of house department including housekeeping, reservation, laundry and security. The Cove Rotana Resort, Ras Al Khaimah boasts 79 villas, some with private plunge pools, six F&B outlets, seven spa treatment rooms, an infinity pool as well as 600 meters of private sandy beach.
