Bjorn van der Horst has been appointed as Director of Food, Beverage and Kitchens at Rosewood London, which will open in October 2013. Born in Switzerland but raised in France, Bjorn has worked in Paris, Monte-Carlo, New York, London and Asia with some of the world’s most famous chefs including Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse. He joins Rosewood London from Soneva Fushi by Six Senses in the Maldives where he was most recently Group Chef and F&B Director. Bjorn is no stranger to the London restaurant scene having previously owned the critically acclaimed Eastside Inn in London. In 2006, Bjorn was Chef Patron of La Noisette, part of Gordon Ramsay Holdings, which won a Michelin star within 12 months of opening. Bjorn also won a Michelin star while he was Executive Chef at The Greenhouse.
