Yann joins with a wealth of experience, having spent ten years with the Novotel Group, and a range of four star hotels including Whittlebury Hall, Brandon Hall, and the Beaumont House in Windsor.
Yann’s role is to work closely with General Manager of The Midland, Mike Magrane who has recently been shortlisted for Hotel Manager of the Year at the Caterer and Hotelkeeper Awards. Yann aims to build on Mike’s success, by ensuring The Midland is the best hotel in Manchester for overall service and guest experience.
Originally from Brittanny in France, Yann worked in the 3 Star Michelin George Piaineau Restaurant in Brittanny, before moving to the Novotel Hotel in Coventry where he took up the position as Head Chef. Yann progressed quickly, becoming Food & Beverage Manager, and then Deputy Manager of the Novotel in Coventry within a couple of years. From there he went onto hold Deputy and Operational Manager positions at a range of four star hotels in the UK, before joining The Midland in Manchester in April.
