Daniel Fueglister, who has been in the hospitality industry for over 35 years, takes over the helm at Swissôtel Kunshan. He moves to China from Swissôtel Sydney in Australia, where he was the General Manager since 2011. Daniel first joined Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in 2008, where he was appointed General Manager at Swissôtel Le Plaza, Basel in Switzerland. Daniel first started his career at the Hotel Metropol, St. Gallen in Switzerland, which was followed by various operational and management work experiences in renowned hotels around Switzerland such as Hotel Chesa Guardalej in St. Moritz, Hôtel du Rhône in Genève and Posthotel Weggis. Prior to joining Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, Daniel was the General Manager of the See & Park Hotel Feldbach, Steckborn in 1994 and the Hotel Saratz, Pontresina in 2003. Daniel is a Swiss National and holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA) in Zürich.

Daniel Fueglister is an alumnus of SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern .
