Anthony Barrett has been appointed as General Manager at Jurys Inn Chelsea

Originally from Dublin, Anthony, aged 29, holds a BSc in Hospitality Management and brings a wealth of knowledge to the position having worked for Jurys Inn for the past nine years at five different hotels across the group. Anthony began his career with the 32 strong hotel group at Jurys Inn Chelsea in 2004 and was a member of the launch team for Jurys Inn Brighton, joining in the capacity of Revenue Manager before being promoted to Deputy General Manager. He then moved to Jurys Inn Birmingham, the group’s largest hotel, as Deputy General Manager. Anthony now returns to Jurys Inn Chelsea as General Manager to lead the team of 63 employees. The hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment and includes a stylish new restaurant and bar area, in addition to a restyling of the hotels 172 bedrooms including its 27 Laura Ashley designed superior rooms. Anthony’s new role will involve promoting the renovated central London property to business and leisure guests alike, in addition to managing and developing the team to ensure all sales, revenue and customer satisfaction targets are met.

Anthony Barrett is an alumnus of Dublin Institute of Technology – Class of 2005.
