Sameh Shawkat has been appointed as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing Middle East and Africa at Dusit International

In his new role, Shawkat will focus on driving the properties’ performance and work alongside the development team as Dusit continues to expand its portfolio in the region, while fostering relationships with the brand’s key clients and partners. Previously, Shawkat was the regional director of sales at Hilton Hotels in Egypt, where he was responsible for 18 properties under the Hilton portfolio, followed by a lengthy stint with Hyatt Hotels in Saudi Arabia as regional director of sales Middle East. Prior to joining Dusit International, he was the executive assistant manager, sales and marketing at Grand Hyatt Doha.
