David HortonHorton began his career working with independent hotels and resorts in sales, then quickly rose through the ranks assuming responsibility for all sales and marketing functions of large complex resorts. He joined Hilton Hotels almost fifteen years ago and for the past four years, has been responsible for the Hilton brand as the Global Head, Hilton Hotels and Resorts. With marketing responsibilities for 550 hotels and resorts across 85 countries and $11 billion in revenue, Horton developed and executed global brand strategies to meet long-term performance and growth objectives. Horton will be reporting to Chris Cahill, the company’s executive vice president of global operations. Mr. Norton replaces Rom Hendler, who the company announced has been appointed chief administrative officer.
