Stephen Wright has been appointed as Executive Chef of Al Qasr and Dar Al Masyaf at Madinat Jumeirah

The Australian national, who is also a Michelin-trained chef, brings 20 years of international industry experience to his new role. He has worked across Asia, with posts in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, and also spent time in the UK.As executive chef, Wright will be responsible for 200 chefs across 12 outlets at the resort. Commenting on Wright’s appointment, Madinat Jumeirah Resort executive chef Sebastian Nohse said: “We are excited to have a professional like Stephen as part of our team. His experience of working across four continents and in seven different countries is a wonderful asset to us and we look forward to enjoying all his tasty creations in our culturally diverse restaurants.
