After working for three years at The Istanbul EDITION as Director of Finance and Human Resources, Ms. Kirmaz made the transition to become the property's General Manager in May 2013. Ms. Kirmaz is no stranger to the hospitality industry or the Marriott brands, for that matter. While she devoted the first 10 years of her career to banking, she joined The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul in 2003 as Director of Finance after a headhunter suggested she apply for the job. Now, as the property's General Manager, Ms. Kirmaz has the opportunity to oversee one of the most dynamic and luxurious boutique hotels in Istanbul. Located near Taksim Square, the luxury hotel attracts cosmopolitan guests from all over the world who are keen to experience the hotel's exquisite appointments and service along with its easy distance to the Grand Bazaar, high-end shops, the Bosphorus, Istinye Park and more.
