The Waldorf Hilton, London, welcomes Alison Palin as general manager fresh from her successful period as general manager at Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. Palin brings extensive hotel management experience to the role, with nearly 30 years of service in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining The Waldorf Hilton, London, Palin worked across numerous Hilton hotels, including Hilton London Kensington and Hilton Montreal Airport. She started her career in 1987 at Trust House Forte Hotels as front of house manager, responsible for front office, housekeeping and engineering, before then joining the former Hilton Wembley Pla za. Alison Palin, general manager, The Waldorf Hilton, London, said, Its an exciting time to join the team, with the ongoing guest room refurbishment revitalising the hotels original art deco features. As one of the capitals most historic hotels, it also enjoys a fantastic location with many of Londons iconic attractions on its doorstep. Its rich history offers some fantastic stories and anecdotes and I feel extremely privileged to be given the opportunity to lead the team into the next phase of its legacy.
