Laurence Vanthier has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at three Marriott hotels

The Renaissance Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments Doha City Centre has appointed Laurence Vanthier as director of human resources. Vanthier, who has been with Marriott for eight years, will oversee recruiting, hiring and essential training for the three hotels. She joins the Doha hotels from her previous role as cluster director of human resources in Belgium where she had oversight of 3 hotels; the Brussels Marriott & Renaissance Hotels and the Marriott Executive Apartments. Prior to joining Marriott in 2005, Vanthier had developed her human resources experience in senior leadership roles at the NH Hotel Brussels, Millennium Copthorne Hotel Calais, France and Hotel Metropole Brussels. She was also an active member of the Brussels Hotels Association that provided guidance and direction to industry leaders in the city.
