Raised in Scotland, Anne Scott graduated from University in Edinburgh and joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts operations in 1993. She moved into Human Resources and in 1997 she was appointed Area Director of Human Resources for UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. In 2001 Anne joined Marriott as the Regional VP HR for Marriott Middle East, UK, Africa. She then returned to hotel operations as the Hotel Manager of The Park Tower, A Luxury Collection Hotel, London. In 2008 Anne relocated to Asia as the opening General Manager of Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort for two years. She comes to the St. Regis Sanya after several years as General Manager at The Andaman, A Luxury Collection Resort, Langkawi, Malaysia. During her career, she has won many awards for her achievement and outstanding performance, including “Asia’s Leading Woman in Hospitality” in 2011, awarded by the Women in Leadership Forum.
